CORIO cryostats

DYNEO cryostats
With DYNEO cryostats, we offer our customers the ideal units for internal and external applications in a wide working temperature range from -50 °C until +200 °C. MAGIO cryostats
The cryostats in the MAGIO series are high-end units in the highest performance class with a large working temperature range from -50 °C until +300 °C. The units offer extra powerful pressure and suction pumps and therefore meet the highest requirements for temperature control of demanding external applications.
Structure and components of cryostats
Cryostats from JULABO are state-of-the-art units for precise and hassle-free temperature control. Their design comprises four central components. The compressor compresses the cooling liquid and increases its pressure and temperature. In the condenser, the hot, compressed cooling liquid is cooled down and liquified by radiating heat to the ambient air. An expansion valve usually regulates the discharge of the cooling liquid into the evaporator and lowers its pressure, causing the coolant to expand and cool down. In the evaporator, the cooling liquid evaporates, absorbing heat from the temperature control medium and thereby cooling it down.
The cryostats have microprocessor controls that enable precise temperature monitoring and control. Safety functions and warning systems ensure hassle-free operation. All parts that come into contact with the cooling medium consist of stainless steel or high-quality plastics for durability and chemical resistance. Many models have pump connections for external temperature control applications and a bath opening for smaller samples.
